PCS Pty Ltd is a Western Australian company specialising in providing project management solutions to a variety of industries throughout Australasia. By recognising that the main cause of project failure is poor planning and resource management, the company helps clients reduce the risk of project costs and schedule overruns by more efficient resource management and improved project reporting.
This service is achieved through the distribution and support of Primavera project management software. PCS is the sole authorised dealer and trainer of Primavera software in WA, providing scaleable project management solutions through its suite of products, which include Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management, Primavera Contract Management, Primavera Earned Value Management (Cost Manager), Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster) and Primavera Portfolio Management (Prosight).
The areas traditionally targeted have grown from the Oil & Gas, Mining and Civil sectors to IT, Banking, Finance and Insurance, or any industry that requires effective project management. The first step is to introduce the software and its capabilities to the client, and through a solutions management system, provide training to users on the software, and provision of consultants in a support role until the client is then able to control the whole management of the project.
Training is offered to clients to best suit their needs and enable them to use the software to its full potential. PCS holds open public courses at the premises of PCS; as well as company dedicated courses and one-on-one training held either at PCS or the client premises. Within the entire range of courses the training duration can vary from a few hours right up to three days.
Consultancy services are offered to the client at the time of the initial software sale. Some clients require installation and configuration of the software and the initial setting up of a project. Other clients are happy for PCS to provide a consultant to run with a project throughout its entire duration. Clients that have dealt with PCS over the years continue to use our expertise and resources as new projects kick off, as ongoing projects require more software, for latest upgrades to the software, or the training of new employees. As Primavera project management software is now one of the most recognised project management tools, our services are also required to assist with the preparation of tenders that stipulate Primavera as the preferred project management tool.
